I'm sure it would be fine if the temps were in the 40 plus degree range. It's very thin and rather snug. I wouldn't describe it as comfortable. It provided very little neck protection. If you have a beard like myself you may find it lacking. I wore it for the first time this morning after a blizzard to clear my driveway. The temps were in the low teens with some mild wind. Under these conditions, the balaclava provided no warmth and no wind protection at all.

It's likely better suited for protection in warmer temps. It's not worth the time to return it. If you're using it to protect your face while riding a dirt bike or motorcycle during nicer weather it may suit that purpose. Don't buy it for winter protection. Get a good fleece balaclava that hunters wear.

I wear this mask when biking or walking to school once it gets below 35° F or so. It's just enough to keep your face and cheeks warm.
Wearing it for long periods of time will make your hair flat like any other hat. Breathing out of your mouth with also make the front of the mask humid, but not significantly more cold. The stitching isn't uncomfortable and fits well. No parts of the mask are loose. The mask, because it is nylon also doesn't hold wrinkles which makes it super portable and inconsequential to through in your bag even when you suspect the day will warm up.

This Full face mask was exactly what i expected, it is stretchy, but not that stretchy. the only complaint i have about this, is that the sowing goes straight down the middle and messes with your nose and chin, other than that, it is perfect. (I am going to use this with my airsoft goggles and clothing, when my airsoft goggles arrive.)

I bought the first one of these as a component for my Halloween costume and it worked perfectly. Perfect for any superhero/ninja costumes. Sadly, I had to cut off the top for the costume.

I was so impressed with this lightweight balaclava that I've purchased a second one for my daily bicycling commute. My other balaclava (Chaos -CTR Howler Multi Tasker Pro Windproof Balaclava, Black, Large/X-Large) is too heavy, and is suited for motorcycle use in very cold weather.

This hood is more breathable, allows for better hearing of one's surroundings, and keeps the face & neck warm for runners and cyclists in 20°"“50°F weather. The construction feels very sturdy while maintaining a lightweight, flexible shape.

Purchased this for a trip to Iceland. It served the purpose for use of short durations to protect my face from the wind. The material did not "breathe" very well, so moisture tended to accumulate around the mouth area. Would not recommend for someone who needs to use this for cold protection for prolong periods of time. I have a large head and it fit easily over my head. It has a lot of stretch in it and will shrink back down to original size. This could be used for a school age child. I had previously purchased one for a child to use for a Ninja Halloween costume.
