I got this clock for my mom as a present because she had been wanting one. It's very cute and cuckoos the hours like it's supposed to. It isn't too loud and it's pretty cute, so she just loves it.

This clock has a very inexpensive clock mechanism on the inside. It takes double a batteries. Also this is not a full size cuckoo clock. It is 5 inches across. It is cute but my 17.95 cent clock from target it of better in quality

You can tell that a lot of care was placed in the creation of this clock. So much attention to detail. My husband was overjoyed when he received this gift from me and our daughters and loves telling folks about it, from the jumping goat to the moving St. Bernard and water wheel. We love the fact that it plays two songs and Coo coo's , too. But you can silence it for night or silence it completely if you would like. Would highly recommend!
