I would strongly suggest that if you plan to drive more than a couple ten thousand miles after replacing this that you get one with a stronger neck as this will likely wear out just like the original.

This improved ACDelco reaction sun shell is an important upgrade for any 4L60E used in any kind of stressful situation. They take abuse much better than original shells. It really is a small price to pay to seriously reduce the risk of transmission failure.
