I gave this as a Christmas present to our nephew, with cash inside and he spent a half an hour working on it and just couldn't get it. He would get so close and just couldn't figure it out, so we gave him a little clue and then got to see his face light up with joy when he opened it and found a $50 bill inside.
The expression alone was all worth the wait.
When we received the box, there was a product code on it that you can go to their website and look up the instructions on how to open it, if you can't figure it out without cheating lol. Yeah, we had to look it up as we just couldn't figure it out.

Gave money to our Daughter and Son in law at Christmas and they could not figure it out for hours. We had to give them a couple hints to help them open it. Everybody tried and no one figured it out. So funny we had to go to the website to open it to put the money inside.

That was my nephew's statement. It probably helped that I put money inside but he and my brother enjoyed trying to get it open. Turned out to be a great way to give some Christmas cash. Of course the littlest nephew wanted one too so there were tears and drama. Good times.
Only gave 4 stars because I question how long it will retain its tightness as it seemed to start loosening up after a half-dozen openings. Also, you have to use a code on the manufacturer's website to get the solution if you need it. There doesn't appear to be any other way to get that information. That seems a little unnecessarily complicated.

I was skeptical to buy this because of some of the reviews, I am happy I did! It arrived in great condition, I didn't have a problem with the drawer falling out as some others did. I tried to solve it for about 5 minutes before I decided to look up the solution, It comes with a paper that sends you to the website. You can hear something rolling around inside, and at first I was worried it was a loose part, nope! Just a red ball. After I learned the directions I still couldn't get it open so I had my Husband do it, It was very difficult the first time, and after that it was very easy. We put some money in it and gave it as a gift, the receiver took about 30 minutes to figure it out! We liked it so much, we bought another :) Also it's just a cool box.
