Good while working, but prone to tearing near hole due to design - better fenders available

The fender worked for less than a season before tearing at the top. The fender did it's job well for a 19' cuddy cabin boat, but the material at the top of the fender is too thin and prone to tearing near the hole that you attach the line to. Unlike other fenders, once this one develops a tear it is unable to function, rendering it useless. I had a different kind of fender on the other side, which has not yet failed for two seasons.
If they thought about this more they would have made two chambers so that even if the area near a hole tore, you could tape it back together without losing pressure in the main area .Or they could have used a thicker material where the stress is concentrated the most, at the hole the line attaches to.

I bought G3 fenders prior to these, although they were too big, they allowed you to add air to them. The G2s do not; I didnt see anywhere it states this in the description. To add to the lack of air valve, one of the two I bought is under-inflated. A bit disappointed.
