Interior dimensions. Drawer and 2 shelves 12" D x 10" W. Bottom shelf is adjustable height. It can be 5, 9, or 11" from the bottom creating a very good amount of space for such a small cabinet. It says 2 ppl recommended but I was able to do it alone with a Phillips head screwdriver. I do recommend using a power tool only bc of the number of screws. The pre-drilled holes do help but most of the time was spent on the screws than actual assembly. It only took an hour. The wood glue provided does not dry clear so do wipe away excess as the instructions recommend. Very sturdy with a simple, classic look. Wood finish is definitely a deep espresso, not black.

I love this floor cabinet! It goes perfectly with my room decor & color scheme. It took 2 days to get here, I ordered it on a Sunday & it got here that Tuesday. From the time I took everything out the box to the time I screwed in the last screw, it took me 1 hour & 10 minutes to put together on my own. I wouldn't say i'm a handy girl but I do know how to follow instructions. All I needed was a phillips screwdriver & the instructions were very simple & straightforward. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a floor cabinet & I would buy again if I need another one.

"some assembly required" is misleading. It requires total assembly. I enjoy DIY projects and am very handy with tools so putting this piece together was no problem. Had they been more honest in their description, perhaps saying "assembly required" I would have given this 4 or possibly 5 stars. I like the piece. It looks just as it was described and is very functional. It provides the extra storage I needed for my bathroom in an attractive way. I found the pieces all fit and went together as the directions described.

Once assembled, it could pass for an okay piece of furniture. While you're assembling it, however, you'll notice how low-quality it is. I don't expect it to last more than one move. It's just fine in a pinch, but don't expect a high-quality piece of furniture.
