I only buy King Oscar Sardines. I discovered my love of sardines in the last two years and did some "research" to determine my favorite. I prefer the smaller sardines of King Oscar to the larger varieties as I find the bigger fish to be just like Tuna - very dry. I purchase the Jalepeno King Oscar from Amazon in packs of 12 as I can't find them locally, but the King Oscar Sardines in Olive Oil are much more affordable at my local Wal-Mart at $2.59/can.

Not Norwegian, packed in Poland
andy3131•February 6, 2017
I don't like the taste, will not buy again. I like and recommend "Matiz Gallego Sardnillas (baby sardines)", product of Spain. "King Oskar finest Norwegian sardines" are "packed in Poland". It's not clear what's Norwegian about them but "Norwegian tradition since 1902". They are "wild caught" but the label does not say where. I bought them on "Amazon Fresh" for $2.56 and wonder why Amazon does not say it's a "verified purchase".
