Lasted Less than Six Months of Occasional Use

I use this for making pour-over coffee at home 2-3 times per week. I have had it less than six months and it is giving VERY wrong readings. Currently the thermometer is reading 120 degrees just sitting on the counter while it is 68 degrees in the house this morning. I first realized there might be a problem with it when it would read 220 (max reading) when the water wasn't even boiling. I would hurry to pull the water off but then the coffee wasn't really hot. Should not need to replace it this soon for the amount of use it has had.

I love this little thermometer. The clip allows me to put it on my electric kettle and stop heating at the right time for my coffee. I buy different roasts and having the right temperature prevents overextraction and brings out the right amount of flavor. There's no way I will make my coffee without ones of these babies again.

It works pretty well. Definitely 4 stars for the price and does what I need it to for steaming milk. It's a little slow on catching up on the temp otherwise it would be 5 stars
