This stuff is amazing and I can't believe I lived my whole life without it. I heard about it a few years ago but didn't feel the need to buy it because I was sure it was expensive and the top coats I used back then were fine. However, recently doing my nails became very frustrating because they would get messed up very easily and would take forever to dry between coats. I finally decided to invest in Seche Vite (which is not expensive at all), and it has since changed my life. I can put on thick coats of polish followed by a thick coat of Seche Vite and my manicure will be done in 20 minutes. Plus, it extends the life of my manicure by a good 4-5 days. That means it takes at least a week before my nails to chip, whereas it used to take only a few days to see chipping.
I've also noticed that even if you accidentally mess up your nails while the Seche Vite is drying, or even when it's already dry, it will still be working and will smooth out the imperfection. What I mean by this is I was tying my hair after applying Seche Vite and one of my nails got a small dent on it. It was small enough that I didn't feel the need to fix it with another coat of Seche Vite, but after about thirty minutes, I noticed that the dent was completely gone. So this stuff is amazing. I don't even mind the weird smell, which is actually strong enough to make me cough.

I've been looking for a solid top coat for a while. I'm a pretty anxious person so I scratch and pick all the time...so much so that nail polish won't last much longer than a night without chipping. I'll have to update my review if something changes, but I used this stuff over some glittery polish last night and it hasn't budged since. It might be a little premature to say this stuff is amazing, but its already survived nail biting, a ton of scratching, picking and digging around under my car seat after dropping my phone. Its been 24 hrs but honestly that's all it takes to convince me.

I don't normally write reviews but I was amazed at how well and how quickly this polish worked. I am now able to use even my lower quality nail polishes that normally take forever to dry. I have noticed a difference in how long my nail color lasts before starting to chip. Love this stuff!
The only downsides are that it does have a very strong smell to it when wet, and there is a warning on the bottle about containing chemicals known to cause birth defects. I'm sure a lot of other polishes contain the same ingredients, it's just scary to think about.

And the answer is, this topcoat is really really great. I can't see myself using any other topcoat from now on and I've only used it once. I applied a basecoat, two coats of highly pigmented polish, then put a fairly thick layer of this topcoat. It says on the package to put on a generous coat of product over wet polish. So, as soon as you are done with color on that last nail, you can put this on.
It truly penetrates all layers of polish and dries to a hard shiny finish in less than 15 minutes. I was playing with the dog 15 minutes after doing my nails! It's that crazy good yall. The pic doesn't do justice to how shiny & smooth my nails are.

Terrible item I followed the instructions to a T and it started bubbling my polish and distorting it. This product also has a serious chemical odor! Also I tried to touch up one of my smears with the nail polish color and it completely ruined my nail polish color in the bottle leaving it clumpy and unusable. I do not recommend this product to anyone! I use nail polish everyday on myself and others so I was really looking forward to this product. It was also taking a very long time to dry and I ended up removing it completely and starting over without using this product.
