Great blade

I'm a do it yourself homeowner who has decided to replace the siding on my house with 6.25" Hardie. Researched the tools I would need and this one looked very necessary. I have been happy with this blades ability to cut cement siding - but don't think it's dust free. You still need to wear a particulate mask. Plus, I have a box fan on the ground to keep the dust blowing in the direction I prefer it to go. But regardless, the saw blade performs well and the dust is just part of installing cement siding.
Worth the price.

This is the next best thing to a nibbler. I tried using an ordinary carbide blade installed backwards, but that generates a _lot_ of dust and the carbide dulls quickly. I don't imagine that the dust is good for the skillsaw, either. This blade makes a clean cut, doesn't make anywhere near as much dust as an ordinary blade, and it lasts. I'd still prefer to use a nibbler tool, but I can't justify the cost to buy one, nor do I want to mess around renting a tool for a quick job. If I had to do an entire house, I'd rent a nibbler, but for small jobs this blade can't be beat.
Worth every penny

This was perfect for cutting Hardie boards of all types. As advertized, it produces a relatively little amount of dust (to the point that for short cuts, I quit using my mask). It cut through 4/4 Hardie Trim boards and siding with ease. I was very impressed. If you're going to be cutting Hardie boards, you need this blade.

This Diablo HardiBlade works very good for cutting HardiPlank. I used it for approx. 200 cuts on 8-1/4 siding and the blade is still working good. The cuts are smooth for a blade cut - have used other brands that had much rougher cut. There will still be some dust - slightly less than the other blades. I would recommend this blade if you are saw cutting HardiPlank.
Great investment and a time saver!

I've been using this to cut Hardie backer board for our bathroom remodel. I made a sled for my circular saw to ride on and coupled with this blade has made cutting straight cuts a breeze and leaves a nice edge behind. After making several dozen cuts, the only wear on the blade is a bit of paint missing; the teeth still look great.
NOTE: You'll definitely want to wear eye, ear, and breathing protection as it makes a tremendous amount of dust.
