This is the second Walkstool that I have purchased. I bought one for myself several months ago. I am disabled and often need to sit down while pit and about. The Walkstool has given me the freedom to enjoy going outwith family and friends. My sister recently visited, she has arthritis of both knees and often needs to sit down. She liked mine so much that I gave it to her to take home and bought another for myself. When ypu forst look at it you may question if it is sturdy. It is. Just make sure you follow the directions and enjoy.
Excellent quality, fit, and finish. Not perfect but close.

Expensive but worth every cent. The quality of materials and workmanship are second to none. I use mine when I go to the shooting range and find that for the most part, it does a good job of staying in place and not wobbling. However, getting out of it can be challenging as it tends to fall over easily. It would be much better if there was a locking mechanism to keep the stool from collapsing. The mesh bag tends to get hung up on rubber stops when trying to pack up. Not a biggie just not a one handed affair.
Walkstool Comfort 22" Travel Stool

After reading quite a few reviews of collapsible cane chairs and travel stools I decided that this was the best fit for my needs. I don't need a cane but sometimes standing in lines becomes very tiring and so this collapsible travel stool will make that easier. I'm an avid photographer and plan to take this stool out on photo shoots. Before retiring I had worked in the fields of welding and metal fabrication and IMO this stool is very well built and worth the higher price as compared to other lightweight travel stools. The heavy-duty fabric that forms the seat is triple reinforced-a metal fastener penetrates the heavy nylon webbing at each corner, next there is a double layer of the seat material forming the second layer and finally the seat material itself.
When you take the travel stool out of its storage bag (closure chord forms a shoulder strap) you easily open the Velcro strap which had secured the seat fabric and then just pull down on each of the three legs extending them into their locking positions. You sit on the stool with one of the seat corners facing forward-due to it's heavy construction the seat fabric doesn't sag at all. To collapse the whole unit just press in a small spring-loaded release button on each leg (very easy to press in) and each leg collapses into the upper tube. Once you secure the Velcro strap around the top part where the seat fabric is the stool easily goes back into the bag. I'm about 6' 1" tall and so this 22" high model is just right. The whole unit is really nicely designed and well worth the higher cost-thanks Amazon for offering this great product.

This stool is amazingly deceptive! It is very lightweight, and easy to use. Turns out it is also quite comfortable and very, very sturdy and solid. Doesn't wobble at all. At 22 inches, it is easy to stand from the sitting position without needing assistance. I'm very pleased with this purchase as it suited the need for me.
Nicely made

Well made, sturdy stool. Easy to open and close. Really saved my back on long walks and standing in line. I think someone is kidding themselves if they think they can use it as a short stool without the legs extended (unless they are an acrobat). The shoulder strap on the case needs to be longer and it might not be a bad idea to have a strap or handle right on the stool so you don't have to carry the case.
