My husband and I have always faced this dilemma: In the age of Netflix and pirating on the high seas, I didn't feel the need for his extensive DVD collections. He refused to let go of anything from the collector's edition of Blade Runner (along with 4 other copies of varying make) to the questionable 80s films that tried to be cult films and failed (they're just weird). I had to think of a compromise we could both live with because in our tiny apartment, we don't have room for TWO bookcases full of DVDs - let alone all the books we have.

BAM! Compromise found with these disc selectors.

We both a couple and spent the day alphabetizing, organizing, and sorting. Now we have the nice movie collection displayed on the bookcase, and, well, everything else is nicely organized in these selectors - we used them like bookends. They save so much space it makes me happy, and it makes him happy to be able to watch that terrible B-movie he's just had on his mind all day.

This item arrived on time and in perfect condition. I am the least tech savvy human being on the planet and I only hoped I would be able to figure out how to properly use this wonderful product. No problem! It was a snap for even a dodo like me! I got rid of all the plastic boxes the CDs came in and set them (CDs) in this wonderful product. It is not only an attractive item to have with your home theater but an extremely practical one at that! It is well made and "feels" like it will last longer than I will. This is one of those products that make you feel like you really made a wise decision to purchase. I would recommend this product to everyone!

The quality of the Disc Gear has gone downhill. We have the older ones (6 of them) and they work beautifully and are heavier. We watch a lot of videos so the boxes get a lot of use. When we got the newer model it wouldn't work until several attempts. The numbers are much harder to read. I will probably buy a used older model a lot stronger. However, the seller was wonderful and I would give them top rating for taking care of my return so swiftly. Very polite.

Unfortunately Discgear no longer sells the 100 discholders which were much better quality. This has no lock or actual closing mechansim on it and no spring hinge, so be careful if you pick it up, as all your discs could fall out. Not impressed, unfortunately they are one of the few companies that makes these types of disc holders. Additionally the 100 discholders were box shaped and can be stacked (I have 3, so this savings space), unfortunately these cannot be stacked. Please bring back the better quality, larger, squared-shaped holders!
