My grandson said he noticed an improvement in 3 days with his schoolwork. They were doing testing and he was much better focused that week. Love this product. Only problem was he had trouble swallowing the gelcaps at first. Better now.

I keep this product in stock during the school year. For my son it took a week or so for it to work but once it starts working I could certainly tell the difference when I did not order it over the summer when school was out.
Do these work for attention? Yes. Are they "healthy" probably not.

If you're looking for a product that helps your son or daughter concentrate and be more focused, there are ingredients in these that seemed to help my son. Although he would not, could not swollen them, and the pill bottle seems smelly, the contents of the capsule was diguisable in peanut butter smoothies, for us. Each morning I squeezed 2 into a peanut butter, banana smoothie.
The problem is, however that I'm now reading that folic acid supplements can cause cancer, so I will probably be throwing these out and changing some things up. We will probably just add a mild tasting fish oil to the mix. Nordic naturals has some lemon flavored ones that he doesn't like "because they don't have a flavor." He hasn't caught on the one time I snuck it into smoothie.
3 other things that have helped us are:
(1) magnesium vitamins (we get the chewable kind by Animal Parade). I've also tried sneaking crushed magnesium tablets into the smoothies but it tends to make a paste at the bottom of the cup.
(2) taking gluten out of his diet. This has been probably the biggest help! (Your child could be sensative to gluten or eggs or dairy or corn... citrus.. who know!)
(3) lastly, we found a homeopathic product called "Attention and Focus" which is a mouth spray with extracts in it. Seems to work for a couple of hours at least.
What a difference!

I don't know if it's a fluke, but once my 11-year-old son, who has some ADHD characteristics along with some anxiety tics, such as blinking a lot, clearing his throat and making this gulping sound, which by the way, is really annoying and distracting to others, started taking this, he has been like a different person. He makes no sounds now, just has the extra blinks occasionally. He is so much less irritable and not as easily agitated. He's much more cooperative and compliant. I see a difference in his attitude toward homework as well. I started him off with Focus Factor for Kids, which seemed to be working, but he despised the taste of the chewable wafer so much that he started refusing to take it. I took one and I personally didn't think it tasted that bad. It's similar to a Tums, but he's always preferred pills to liquids or chewables. So I went in search of a pill with similar ingredients to the Focus Factor for Kids. Kids Attention has many of the same ingredients and it is a little oval softgel that has no smell, no taste and it works. My son says he feels better when he takes it and I get no argument when I give it to him. It says to give one softgel three times a day, but I just give him two at one time when he wakes up.
Good tool to help your child's behavior!

I'm only giving 4 stars because it isn't a miracle cure for a child who has behavior trouble. It does, however, help. I have had our 9 year old son on this for a couple of weeks now, and I can see the difference when he misses a dose. I have him taking one with breakfast and dinner. Thinking about maybe throwing in one for lunch, but haven't yet. He seems a little more open to reason when he's taking them. When he gets homw from school, he is a little less cooperative, but not unreasonable, that's why I've thought about one for lunch. He seems to do better with his teachers on days he takes it and less when he misses. It's not a good kid in a bottle, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It is another tool to help your kid help him/her make some more reasonable decisions in regard to their behavior. Good place to start if you have these issues.
