I bought this for a 98 k3500 14 bolt 10.5 rear spindle nut ,
I borrowed a set of 5 and this socket might have worked by pounding it on ,so I returned the set and order this socket.
it seems to be hard to get the correct socket for the single nut system with semi round holes
this one worked just fine by rounding the inside corners of the pins with a file ,a 10 minute job

I needed this to install a Yukon "free spin" hub locker kit on my 2017 Ram 3500. This fit and worked great. Only marked it down to 4 stars because it arrived with a decent size rusted streak going down the side of it. Looks like water had been dripping on it a some point and time. Had to wire brush it off and hit it with some flat black paint. Didn't want any rust flaking off into my new hubs and bearings. Other than that it worked great and happy to have the correct tool for when I check and service the bearings in the future.

I found this socket to be of high quality and a good fit on the spindle nut. There have been some earlier comments about the quality of this part but it seems like the manufacturer may have corrected those issues. I used this socket to install Stage 8 DNA-60 X-Lock spindle nuts on my Dodge 2500. The Stage 8 spindle nut and retainer appears to be a much nut retention system than the OEM nylock nuts. By the way, the Stage 8 Dana 60 kit fit my Dana 80 without any issues.

Did NOT fit my 2001 Ford E-350. For that application I needed something like Performance Tool W83008, with the teeth sticking out of the socket rather than being flush with the socket. This is obvious once everything is taken apart, the problem is everything is now taken apart and you find out you don't have the right tool.

W83008 is being advertised for use with Dana 80 axles while this Powerbuilt socket says it is compatible with Dana 60 and 70 axles, perhaps this is the important difference.

I ended up loaning an OEM brand socket set from Pep Boys that had a W83008-looking socket.
