Just what I need in gallon size jar.

Hard to find rice vinegar in gallon jars. I use a lot when I pickle onions. I prefer rice vinegar inleiu of white or apple vinegar. Don't know about seasoned rice vinegar as far as flavor. Will try it the next time.

Fast shipping and packed well. We needed large bottles to make a big batch of specially flavored vinegar and this was perfect for the cost, where we live it would have been pricey to buy.

I don't live near any large stores so getting to buy this household staple by the gallon is great. I use it tons of things from sushi dipping sauce to pickling vegetables (see pickled daikon radish) to fruit/vinegar drinks called Shrubs. I love this vinegar!

Certainly usable, and a couple years from the expiration date clearly stamped on the product. However the vinegar has a darker yellow colour than I usually see, and tastes just a little off. I suspect it's being stored at too hot a temperature, but who knows. I bought a different brand on Amazon before, and I'll switch back to that... in a year, after I finish this.

As I ramp up my Asian culinary endeavors, I finally decided I needed to get something larger than a 12-ounce bottle of the Marukan vinegar since nearly every recipe I use call for that amount, and was very pleased to find this gallon size on Amazon. So not only does this vinegar meet my cooking needs, it comes in a size that will keep me with plenty on hand at a much better price than the 12-ounce bottles did.
