I used the balloons for a baby reveal party. They worked just as needed by blocking the color of the paint that revealed the sex of the baby. I did find that some of the balloons when stretched out we're a different color. For example, I added pink paint/water to the balloon and when it was being filled/stretched one of the balloons we're blue. The balloons we're small and I did not fill them up all the way, this helped because none of the balloons popped while they were stored before being thrown. When thrown at the board they broke easily (I did have the sharp end of the pins pointed in the direction to help pop the balloons). All in all they worked for me!

I was really impressed with these water balloons. Out of the entire package only 2 had pinholes. That's pretty impressive. They filled up easily & lasted days before my party. I was looking for a solid black balloon to resemble cannon balls for a pirate birthday party and they were perfect.
Cheap and odd shaped

I get that these are cheap balloons, but to call them cannonballs is a bit of an overstatement. We received 50 balloons. I got 17 to actually take a black circular shape. The remainder stretched out - oblong - with a weird tip at the end - similar to something that you might use to prevent pregnancy if you know what I mean..... It was embarrassing for an 8 year olds birthday party and we couldn't use over half of them. Don't waste you time - just suck it up and buy normal water balloons.

If you are using these as water balloons, be prepared to launch them with an explosive cannon...at someone wearing spiked armor. That's what it will take to pop these. If you are using them for a gender reveal party, or to hide anything inside, then these are exactly what you need. They are thick and perfectly opaque. Note that they are the approximate size of water balloons (maybe slightly larger), but not as round as the one pictured. They are regularly shaped balloons. They were perfect for my spy party (where I had my kids "disarm"/pop the bombs to find a hidden message), but I would not use these for a water party (hence my three star rating).
