Like every Kraft Planter peanut product I have purchased through amazon for the last three years ,these suck in my opinion .. The plain salted peanuts were the worst with a stale slightly rancid flavor. The honey roasted were slightly better because the salt and honey covered some of the peanuts true flavor which is poor. I seem to have better luck at brick and mortar stores but the quality of planters continues its decline. What was once the gold standard for peanuts seems to have gone to hell because lack of quality control and perhaps being owned now by Kraft Foods.
I'm going to throw out both boxes of these rather than suffer through them. 4 years ago planter peanuts on amazon were great ,I bought them by the 100 one once packs for my kids and they loved them , now they won't even pick a pack up. Way to go planters : (

We were looking for an alternative snack from potato chips and popcorn, and this is it! It's a great afternoon or takealong snack. Additionally, the size and convenience allows us to pack a bag or two for a quick snack while golfing. No worries about melting or mess in the heat either.

There are three different varieties included in the box, 12 salted peanuts, 6 salted cashews and 6 honey roasted peanuts. Amazon offers this item as part of their Subscribe and Save program, and the price is excellent. You'd pay around $1 for one bag of these at a convenience store.

If you're tired of crackers or Granola bars, give these a try. They taste great and the variety is an added plus.

Not what I expected. Had very little peanut taste. I have had more flavor from peanuts in the shell. Not like any dry roasted peanuts I have ever had before. Every other dry roasted peanuts I have had, had a little texture on the surface. These were very smooth. I bought the non-salted ones because I am trying to cut down on my Sodium intake. I won't buy these again. Planters dry roasted peanuts with salt have the right texture and taste and I will definitely buy them again and just find other places to cut down on my salt intake.

Okay variety pack. The salted peanuts and cashews tastes as you expect. The honey roasted peanuts flavor is a bit overpowering though and the weakest in the pack (in my personal opinion, others may disagree). Also the honey roasted peanuts in the only bag that isn't transparent.

I do not like how the "Tear Here" release tab is vertical instead of horizontal. Some times when you tear it, there's a tiny hole where the peanuts or cashews cannot go through optimally, so you have to stick your pinky in to expand the hole.

I like how the expiration date is posted in each individual bag, just in case you lose the box or plan to sell it at retail.

There's a hole punch near the top, making it good for retail sale also.

Good for on-the-go, or a packed snack for children's lunchbox. Cheaper if you buy it in bulk instead of individually packed bags, but good to pay extra for convenience at times

Overall, aside from the honey roasted peanuts being to strong and the bad angle of the tear tab, it's a good variety pack.

My husband has gone on a very low carb diet and having to watch his sodium intake too. These are a perfect snack for him. These are Lightly salted and do still have a salted flavor. I actually prefer these over the regular salted version of cocktail peanut as I think you taste more peanut flavor without so much salt. Caution! You do have to watch the serving size as these will rack up some fast and hefty calories if you're counting!
