Simple and works, but for how long

ok, first up, it is plastic and so you have to be carful. I'm using it for cutting small pieces of hard wood, e.g. ebony and it works fine.
Not sure how long it will last and perhaps next time I'll go for something made of a harder material - or perhaps this will last

The theory is better than the practice

I thought that plastic would be better in terms of keeping the blade sharp but this item was not worth getting. It is very difficult for me to keep the blade in the openings and a sharp blade too easily cuts into the plastic. My previous mini miter was fiberboard and it served its purpose well for years vs. a few weeks. Definitely not recommended.

Was disappointed that it was plastic. I did not realize there were several models, of the same thing. I would never have bought the plastic model, only the metal.

This small miter box is a great tool to have around. It is compact and easy to use with a razor saw. I use mine often in my hobby area and actually have a spare in case something happens to this one.
