Weaver started a great scope mount technique a long time ago and they have remained a good scope mounting setup. These rings are solid and can be tightened down to really stand the shock of large bore recoil.The rings I received were very well machined and fit perfectly around my scope.
I always look at Weaver first when I need scope mounting equipment.

For some reason I had some difficult screwing these rings down and had to make some adjusts with the one screw.
Maybe I just got a manufacture imperfecto. I dunno? I was able to still get things mounted.
price was right and everything else was pretty good.....

Locked on to 6.5 CM with no shifting or loosening. Threads for screws (machining) were a little rough first time in, but no stripping. Can't really beat them for the price. First order was missing a screw, but with Prime they sent me out a replacement in a couple of days. So lost a star since the QC for parts bag missed a screw.
