A must for any parent. Has a chime option that when door opens gives a simple chime sound and than a loud alarm option that will continue to go until door is closed. Alarm is LOUD, only took 1 time for our "runner" child to hear and leave door alone. We have these on our door and sliders, they can be placed in many different ways!

There are two different modes on this, one that we call the "Kwik-E Mart" and one that is just a loud alarm, or it can also be turned off. We put this on my escape artist 4 y/o son's door, and it's been great.

I have three little boys and a lot of second story windows. These are an inexpensive way to know if they decide they want to take a super hero flight off the roof (which my husband actually tried as a child, but the neighbors caught him before he took flight!). I have recommended these to multiple parents who have had scares with young children opening windows at night or throwing things out them. You can turn them off if you want to open the window. I just use a screw on a window lock so I can vent the windows in the summer but they can't get them past a certain point. These are REALLY loud so you would hear them from anywhere in the house and the child would likely be too scared to try anything! They are also a great idea for home security or to keep sleep walkers in check!
