This thermos is perfect. Even though I only fill it half way up with 1 cup of soup, it keeps the soup hot for a couple of hours before I eat it at noon. I fill it with boiling water for about 10 minutes, drain it and add boiling soup. When I eat it 2 hours later it is just the right temperature. Love, love, love it!

This thermos is exactly what I was hoping it would be. It's a good size for a lunch box, big enough for a teenage boy's appetite, but not too big. It keeps hot things very hot. I haven't used it for anything cold yet, but suspect it would work pretty well for that too. The spoon is convenient. The color is attractive (a nice cranberry red), and so far, it's holding up to constant use (for about 3 weeks now). I wish the opening were a dot bigger, because, when there is any stuck on food (like melted cheese), I can't reach it with my hand or a regular dish cleaner, but have to use a bottle brush to clean it. It gets squeaky clean once I do that though.
The only brand I would go for thermos lunch jar.

Now I only bought Thermos lunch jar for my daughter because it never lets me down. I have tried other brands. But with no good luck. It keeps my daughter's lunch perfectly hot at lunch time. I poured in the soup at 8:15. It is still too hot for her at 12pm. So I usually have to let the soup cool down a little before put into the jar. For solid food, it is ok. No need to wait.

I put hot soup into this thermos at 8:45 AM today, and I ate it at 4:50 PM and it was still so hot I had to blow on it to eat it. Not only does it work extremely well it is beautifully designed the height and width proportions are perfect and it has a brushed stainless steel exterior , it is perfectly balanced it just looks nice and feels nice ,absolutely a perfect product . There is just enough room to fold a small paper towel inside the cup between the thermos and the stopper so you can clean up after your meal. This is one of the most efficient , beautiful products I have ever reviewed .

I love the size and the little folding spoon. Keeps my almond milk cold. I put some fried rice in it for work one day. I added boiling water to the thermos before I added the food. The rice went right from the pan to the thermos. However when I had lunch, the food was warm, but not hot. I don't know if it would keep soups hot. No experience with that. But I love the size. Pours liquids easily. Doesn't leak. A good purchase.
