The best packaged fondant and it tastes great!

I have been making 'cake war' type cakes for about 15 years. While I can make my own fondant I find that the Satin Ice is actually about as cost effective and way more convenient. The more you buy the better the pricing. The best tip i can give is that this product tastes better than any packaged fondant, period. There is just no comparison. It's smooth, takes paste coloring exceptionally well and stores well in the tub provided you reseal the bag immediately after removing some of the product and before you put it away. When i have leftover colors I wrap them tightly with plastic wrap, put them in a sealed zip lock type bag and pile them all in the tub with the original white and they keep for months. It's a great product.

Tastes great, vegan, and easy to color & work with. However, WORK QUICKLY and good luck if you have to roll out a big piece. I had to roll out a 16" round to cover a 3-layer 9" cake, after coloring the fondant: I almost didn't make it. It broke fatally twice and the third time I barely made it -- transferring such a large round to the cake was no picnic. I probably won't use this for a large cake again, at least if I need to color it, but I love it for smaller cakes. I'll also say that I made that cake 2 months ago and the leftover fondant is still quite pliable and useable.

I really love this fondant. I've tasted some horrible fondant on wedding cakes and shower cakes but this one actually tastes good. Easy to work with too. Tastes a lot better than Wilton or the Cake Boss fondant. I had to buy just a little bit of black fondant last time I made a cake and I bought a very small package of the Cake Boss at the craft store. It was awful tasting. Both the white and black Satin Ice fondant tastes like vanilla. It's really good.

I'll be buying this for life, just to snack on! It's good because it tastes more better--at least my son says it that way!

I absolutely love this fondant. Now, I'm no mechanic or rocket scientist, nor do I know anything about ingredients or anything else for that matter, but I do know that I get sick from wheat and milk! I didn't see milk or wheat in the ingredients of the fondant I purchased. Because of that, I thought I'd try it, and you know what? It's absolutely super amazing. The texture, the smell, the vanilla taste, the way it can be formed into a planet that I can eat all life long.

I'll be buying this for life, just to snack on! It's good because it tastes more better--at least my son says it that way!

Worked great and tasted surprisingly good! I think the flavor is very similar to to the marshmallows in Lucky Charm's cereal. The Dr. Seuss cake I made decorations for got damaged in transit to the party, but you can see how well the fondant worked for the decorations on the cake. It did just what I wanted to and was easy to handle with a little bit of flour. It took color very well too. Would definitely purchase again!
