DIY? general contractor & steel fabricator spent 3 1/2 hours just attaching 1/2 the hitch to the RV! Broke one wheel puller, modified another LARGER PULLER to get closer to desired seating position. Finally heated threaded portion to slip down on tapered collet within 1/4" of flush. NO mention in directions that you will never be flush to closing collet! pictures show it flush! Fairly major project, hope phase two goes better... Will have to start fresh tomorrow for that challenge. Good luck! The hitch does seem well built, thus 3 stars. of course proof will be in the towing!
