I bought this letter opener because I wanted a bigger one to replace the one I had. It's perfect. The finish is very nice, the blades are sharp and the handle a very nice color. I actually applied 3 coats of polyurethane on the wood handle to seal the wood and give it a protective coat. It's perfect.
Rivets not flush

In general I like it. It's just sharp enough to work well.
My only complaint is that the rivets in the handle weren't flush with the handle. So you felt them sticking out a bit. Sometimes they stuck out enough to catch the skin on a finger. I filed them down a bit. But this defaced the handle some.
