A little piece of mind

This is exactly what I wanted for myself to provide an extra sense of security. As a single female renter I always felt a little concerned about the maintenance guys, office staff, previous tenants and any number of other service providers that had keys to easily enter my apartment. While I doubt this little gem will stop anyone who is bound and determined to gain access regardless of the consequences, I do believe it will deter those that attempt entry who want to go unnoticed. It installed super easily. It took me longer to remove it from the packaging than it did to install it. I definitely recommend this to everyone who rents.

I purchased two of these, one for my apartment door and one for travel.
Home: this fits perfectly on my front door. It was tested when the maintenance man at my building showed up earlier than expected. He knocked, and before I could get to the door, he was already trying to open the door AND COULD NOT. This held, and he really pushing. I know someone can get in if they really are determined, but the level of noise they'd cause would alert neighbors and give me time to react. Exactly what I bought it for.
Hotel: I've stayed in one hotel and this did fit. It was loose in the door jamb, but once the door was closed, it didn't budge when I tested it.
Nothing is 100% secure. But this device definitely makes my door more secure then the lock and chain do! I highly recommend for anyone in an apartment and travelers. I practiced taking the lock off to be sure I could do it in a fire. It takes less than 3 seconds to set up and remove. Very happy with purchase.

Excellent Layer of protection and easy to travel with

A MUST! Out of all the products the give that extra layer of protection, in the door way. This is the best! I have the Buddy Bar and the Door Jammer as well as several others, but for convenience, results and piece of mine. This is my favorite! It's also easy to travel with.

Was hopeful about this but I think the pictures say it all. Very first time I tested this it bent into an unusable piece of junk. It did hold, but the person on the other side of the door wasn't trying that hard to get inside.
