I also own a 38" Poulan XT, model PXT12538. Kit fits perfectly. Its tough buying parts never sure if they will fit. Wish to thank Mr. Lawrence Pina for his excellent review. Took the guess work out of it.

I didn't even change the blades as they were the exact same blades it had, but the plastic mulch shield works excellent! I was going to sell my mower, but not now.

Absolutely love this item. Fit my Home Depot poulan mower and saved me tons of time from having to take. Made lawn cutting faster and made lawn look better after mowing as well
