Be mindful of your speaker requirements

I would have given this amp five stars but for two reasons. 1) The translated instructions are grim and & sparse. 2) There is not a way to run a double set of speakers using the unbalanced RCA connectors. You can run one set balanced and one set unbalanced. I bought this to DJ with two sets of unbalanced speakers. Other than that, it's clean power and a lot of punch....especially for the money.
QSC GX5 500-Watt Amp Problems

After only a month in a half I am having trouble with getting a signal out of my channel #1. This is a brand new unit that I used in my home studio playing a keyboard drum machine and guitar through it for practicing smooth Jazz & Blues tunes. I had purchase this unit because of the great reviews on it. This was purchased through Amazon and you can't return it for a refund after 30 days, therefore I'm forced to take my brand new unit to a authorized dealer for additional repairs that will be coming out of my pocket, this was from the company themselves, so much for the 3 year LIMITED warranty . So at this point I'm not very happy with this product, maybe I just received a dud.
Like all amps in their price range

Decent amp for the price. Very dependable. I own 3 and have never had a problem with one. Like all amps in their price range, they seem to have an inflated rating. I'd guess they are possibly 400 w/ch at 8 ohms and 600 w/ch at 4 ohms? The power supply cannot keep up for use on subs, but these are great for monitors or small main speakers.

Operation as expected. Just the fan is so loud! I'll do some configuration & revisit this.
Great amplifier so far

Great amplifier so far. I am using on my home sound system, so I haven't really tested it at high volume for an extended amount of time. Sound is clean and no distortion at mid range. The fan is a little louder than I am used too, but if using in a dj booth or on stage, would be a non factor. Once volume is turned up you can't really hear it. Overall a solid amp that gets the in home job done for my turntables.
