Your kids will absolutely enjoy the slide but before you buy it
DSpec✓ Verified PurchaseMay 25, 2017
First off, the slide is a pain to put together. If you do not possess patience or don't have a little creativity, look elsewhere; this one requires a bit of each. Your kids will absolutely enjoy the slide but before you buy it, realize Amazon fluctuates the price from $400-$600 regularly.

We decided on this slide solely for the cost. With a sub $500 cost, and no options for a 6'-4" height deck, we improvised a bit and dug the bottom of the slide into ground, helping stabilize the slide a bit more.

Advice on assembly:
As other people have mentioned, it's good to let this sit out in the sun for a few hours before assembly. This will help the plastic "give" a bit and make it easier to assemble.

Also, dont try to secure all 4 corners of each tube section then work your way to the middle. It is much easier to start at one end and work your way to the other. This will help align the holes much easier.

Wear gloves! Your knuckles will absoltuely thank you for it. Also, if you a own a drill where you can attach sockets, have it handy. It will make assembly much less cumbersome.

Overall, it took us around 5 hours for assembly and letting the kids enjoy the slide. Have an extra set of hands to assist in building the slide, or two sets. This is a DIY, buy your buddy a beer for helping type of project...
Four year old's dream!;) turbo fast fun!:)

Our four year old daughter LOVES this slide! It was kind of agrivating at times while assembling it. We had to drill holes that didn't line up very well. (So I suggest having a drill with drill bits at the ready). Also, the bolts that come with it are a little short. There are a couple of longer ones if you dig through them, and we figured out that the longer ones were to get each section started easier and then we backed out the longer ones and put the shorted ones back in so we could use the longer ones again to start the new sections. (So if you have longer bolts then I suggest you use them when putting the built sections together). We put all of the sections together and then attached the top section to the playhouse we built her. Then we attached the next piece as the instructions said and it went pretty well. But when we got to the point where you attach the last two sections, the holes did not line up at all and we had to drill our own holes and go with it. But it all works well. We dug a hole in the ground at the foot of the slide (before we put on the last piece) and then packed dirt around the end piece we put on and it holds just fine, no wobbling. So we didn't do that last step with attaching it to wood and all that... It's very stable the way we did it. All in all our daughter has a blast!! My husband and I have even been down it too, and it's a little to cramped for us, but we did have fun too:)! It definitely lives up to its name, turbo fast fun!:)
There was a lot of yelling and frustration, but it's done.

Some things you need to know before you build this.

1) As far as putting the slide itself together, 1 person with a lot of screwdrivers can do it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
2) The 3/8" drill bit listed in the instructions is great for drilling new holes when the old ones are off by 1/2" but not for what the instructions say to use it for (see item 3). Overall, I probably had to redrill 10-15 holes that weren't even remotely close to lining up even with all surrounding bolts in place.
3) The instructions say to drill 3/8" holes in the wood for your Lag screws but the lag screws in the box were 5/16". The largest drill bit you should even consider is 1/4", fortunately I caught this before pre-drilling any of the holes
4) It's hard to make an oval into a circle, but it can be done. (the end of the top piece vs the first 90 degree turn).
5) The company wrote the instructions with the assumption that you are attaching this to one of the playhouses that they make, make sure you buy appropriate hardware if you are using a different design.
6) A 6'2" 250lb person can go down this slide, but only because his wife made him do it and he's not going to do it again.
Indoor slide! Because we can.

A million nuts and bolts later we had our slide! We put it indoors so it took some custom tweaking but it worked out good! The kid loves it.
Not great

Pros:
-It is a slide

Cons:
-Diameter of slide is TINY (this is for small small children)
-Plastic is flimsy and low quality (this is definitely a low use lower end residential slide as the panels warp and flex easily)
-Fastener quality (the majority are electroplate nickel)
-Fastener length (the 3/4" fasteners are rather useless)
-Manufacturing quality is poor
-Instructions are not the easiest way to put this together
-Brace is not a great design

My suggestions if you buy this slide after assembling it are:
Take all of the 3/4" bolts that the slide comes with and toss them. Go to a hardware store and buy 1" replacements. The reason is, after using the manufacturers suggested method of lining up the holes with screw drivers, at least 1/5 of the holes were more than 1/2" off so there was no way the 3/4" bolts were going to work (and yes the correct halves were mated). Those that were not too far off are drilled at random distances from the lip with some so close to the curvature that your washers will be askew and the 3/4" bolts won't be long enough to reach. Even taking that into account, you will still need to add a drill to your needed equipment because you will be redrilling holes so that they can align. All in all, this thing is going to be a lot of work but at least it is cheap.
