Difficult to set up

I unfortunately have to give this product 1 star. While it seems sturdy and the height adjustment is good, set up and take down are too time consuming and frustrating. For me, I play my bongos in several locations and if it is not easy to set up and take down, then it's not functional. I have LP Generation ll bongos and there is not a lot of room in between the metal bar that goes over the top of the bongos and holds them on the stand and the rim of the bongos. Also, the washers and wing nut are on the bottom so are easily dropped and lost. But with the frustration of set up (at least for me), this stand wont work. If you are planning on leaving your bongos on this stand all the time, then this stand may very well work for you. But I will be returning it.

Great bongo stand, solid built and small, great to add a pair of bongos to a drum set.

If you're looking for a sturdy stand, this is it. Very adjustable. It's a bit pricey, but it is not going to fall over, tip or collapse under use.
