Beautiful Upholstery Nails for Craft Project

I bought these nails to use for a homemade bulletin board project. It's one of those fabric covered bulletin boards that uses ribbons to hold photos. I used these nails to hold down the ribbons where they criss-crossed each other. I wanted a decorative nail that would look nice. These nails did the job. They are rounded (domed) and give the bulletin board a very pretty finished look.
Not the tacks I was expecting

I ordered these tacks for a DIY project. I already had bought 5 boxes, but needed more to complete the project. Unfortunately, the boxes of tacks that were sent were different from what I had ordered (I had double-checked the product number to make sure I ordered the right tacks).

Good quality nickel silver upolstery tacks. Very good value for the money from this seller, and an extremely high quality product.
These nails are hard to find, so I was quite pleased to be able to find them on Amazon.com.
Search for upolstery nails, not tacks, to find them easily. Searching for tacks will give you thousands of hits to sort through. Watch the prices, as many outlets were trying to sell these nails for dollars each, instead of pennys each. They are only heavily nickel plated, not made of solid silver or gold!

Have an old couch that is coming apart at the seams. It was tacked with staples and now some of those staples are pulling out of the wood and sticking out. So I pull those out and repairing the seam with these upholstery tacks. These tacks are pretty nice, seem to be very adequate for my needs. Haven't had any bend when I've hammered them in (actually using a mallet not a hammer). I'll probably be buying more later. I'm happy with my purchase.
