Haven't tried this yet. Saw another tennis player use this and he highly recommended. As expected and quickly delivered. I ordered this
in advance of cold weather but just by looking at it...this will help.

Works on those chilly days for drill, or before a match. Keeps your hand warm without causing any issues!
Good for platform tennis, size limits versatility
Baron of ColierDecember 19, 2017
It's nice and warm and it was way cheaper than the Viking, which is why I gave it a whirl.
Pros: Cheap, good construction, warm

Cons: Limited range of motion within mitt, handle collar would be very tight around a 4-3/8 grip

So the standard platform tennis racquet has a 4-1/4 grip. The orifice in the mitt comfortably allows motion to twist the paddle if you are changing your grip, however if you upsize your grip more akin to tennis racquets, it's going to be a very snug fit. If you only use a continental grip for all of your shots this isn't an issue. But if you are continually switching grips, the rotation will be hampered by the collar size on larger diameter grips.
The other issue has to do with range of motion within the mitt.
Personally, I use a choked up grip on volleys, but to do that while wearing the mitt, the base of the handle can't push far enough into the "bulge" of the mitt, making it very tough to switch grips on the fly. For me, that's a dealbreaker on this mitt, even though it could be a non-issue for many.
Great for playing tennis in the winter

Great for playing tennis in the winter. I live in Texas but even in Texas these are needed sometimes haha.
provides warmth but not great to use

It does keep my hand very warm, however, the material is more restricting than I would have liked. Adjusting your hand/grip within the mitt during a match is not easy, so I tend to not use it in competitive play. If you are just hitting around leisurely, then it's a winner, especially when the temperatures get below 45 degrees!
