Don’t use on painted wood

I love the stamps, they work well and heat up quickly. I used them on a painted fence post the first time and the paint has stuck to a few of the letters. I would think it would have burned off after several uses but they will not. I would recommend only using these for wood that had not been painted. I've akso used these on driftwood and they are awesome. Takes some getting used to with the heat and the amount of pressure but they work well.
Ok for the price.

Not a bad product overall, however some of the letters broke after a couple years is. He heat that allows you to screw the letter into the pen snapped or bent on two of the letters after only being used twice. I was able to repair one, but not the other.

These work well; although it takes about 5 - 7 minutes to heat up each letter and is a pain to unscrew the hot ones ! Worked as described but is cumbersome to use so I give it 4 stars

Works well with adjustable heat W.H. burner. Practice for 30 minutes on scrap material same or close to same as project wood before starting project. I used to make wooden alphabet blocks for granddaughter to spell her name (with little designs on corners). Then sprayed semi-gloss clear. My first time ever with wood burning and it worked great and looked super! (You may have to press and rotate pressure a little while burning to get even imprint... Practice!)
Looks great and easy to use

Works great and has a great look when burned into wood. I would have given a 5 star (actually contemplated giving a 2) if the quality was better. After a few uses one of the welds holding the letter onto the screw in shaft broke free.

However after debating between 2 and 3 star, I decided since only happened on one letter (the E) it may have just been a faulty letter. Besides we have formed the E with the F and L since.
