This stuff makes the best brownies and hot chocolate EVER. Just follow the recipes on the can. This is a BIG can and goes a long way. Note - this is not unsweetened cocoa that you normally use in baking. It is cocoa mixed with ground sweetened chocolate so it is sweeter than plain cocoa.

It's sweet, though I don't think it's as sweet as a lot of other mixes, so on the rare occasions that I want a darker, slightly more bitter taste, I mix in some natural cacao powder.

Best hot chocolate mix I have had, everyone I serve it to loves it. Control your own strength, add to hot milk (or coffe, or...!), froth it up for a special treat. $18 for 3 pounds comes out to $0.55/cup of milk using 3 Tbsp/cup, and it hands down beats what you can order out unless you're looking to spend big bucks, and even then it competes well.
I wish they would also offer the same sized Double Double Chocolate with co co etc something along that line that is a bit less

I adore this and being Dutch-American it almost seems essential, year round. I grew up with a European style chocolate that is less sweet so feel the sugar intake may be a bit high. Otherwise, I have it on my shelf and it's delicious- because restaurants buy it also etc it can also be used for cake frostings etc. I see it dissolving though like a traditional European Dutch co co, in hot water or milk, I don't use it for cold milk, it doesn't dissolve that well in cold. It's a real coco with good quality ingredients, not a cheap flavoring so I really feel like I'm getting my money's worth!
Good powder, not a fan of all of the ingredients.

Truthfully, we LOVE this powder. BUT.... we hate the hydrogenated oil. We are constantly trying to find a replacement. I wish they'd take that out.
