I have a lot of back problems, a broken neck, and had some cervical fusion surgeries which has left me with extremely minimal range of motion in my neck. This mirror has been amazing, beyond helpful, and has made driving significantly less stressful. Plus, it allows me to feel a lot more comfortable while driving/maneuvering in traffic.

I was using mostly the sideview half-globe mirrors which helped a bit, however, not even close to the helpfulness of the extended convex rearview mirror. I have been utilizing this and the sideview globes for years now, ultimately both work best in unison. Although, a lot of the time I can fully see all of my blindspots just using this rearview without any issues, as well as plenty more that can be visualized in the extended field of vision.

I ordered this one for my mother to use since she can sometimes get a bit flustered trying to change lanes in heavy traffic. Some other reviewers have mentioned difficulty getting used to the image with the convex curve, try to practice while sitting at traffic lights. Identify a vehicle in the mirror, turn to look directly then back and forth a few times, after that move onto another vehicle. This will help to get used to the distances/depth of view more easily. My mom was having a bit of trouble with the mirror at first but after I recommended practicing like that it helped her to better understand what she was seeing and where it actually was.

After avoiding getting hit twice it was time to take matters into my own hands. This has been one of the best purchases I've made thus far when it comes to my car. I drive a Mazda 6 and there's a discrepancy between the rear view mirror and the side mirror because of how the side mirror itself tapers off and even with adjusting my mirrors I still found it to be a very deadly hazard, especially when both mirrors were clear and took the average car about 3-5 seconds to exit out of my blind spot.

With this rear view mirror there are no blind spots so switching between lanes is a lot easier and definitely more efficient when having to maneuver through traffic. It takes a bit to get use to, I would say use it as soon as you get it and take it around the block to see how you like it.

This rear view mirror is perfect for my 1994 GMC Sierra! I can see both of my cab windows on each edge of the mirror. Because my truck is wider I barely have an issue with this, but if you have a smaller vehicle you will most likely have trouble moving around your sun visors.

Disclaimer: Because this mirror is intended to give you a wider view the objects in the mirror seem further away. I actually prefer this, but its good to know for those who would not like it.

Purchased this for my wife. She uses it in her 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan. She recently lost vision in he right eye due to a detached retina. This mirror gives her a COMPLETE view of her side and rear-view surroundings (including all seated within the van itself). The Fit System RM0011 Clip-on Wide Angle Rear View mirror works so well, it almost makes using the side view mirrors an afterthought altogether. The point has been made many times in other reviews how important it is to adjust to the wide angle effect this mirror gives you. This effect causes objects to appear further away than they actually are. It's extremely important to adjust to this issue when using the new mirror.

The mirror is wide, but it works really well. I have an FJ Cruiser and the factory mirror are horrible, and the truck is known for its blind spots. With this mirror I can see much clearly, not to mention the kiddos in the back seats. I'm taking a point away because this mirror will render your sun visors useless as the mirror is an obstruction.

Also, the quality is just so-so. The edge of the inner mirror were uneven. However, overall the mirror is a keeper.
