Flavor was good. Why did it go from 30.99 to 40.94 in less then a month?

If you're looking to replicate that Starbucks flavour, in my opinion, keep looking. While this matcha is entirely delightful, smooth, and just gosh darn tasty, it's a bit different than the Starbucks sort. Personally, I prefer this, though I'm likely a little biased.

I have only ever prepared it hot so far. I use about half the powder as recommended for the iced recipe (given hot does not have ice melting into and diluting it), a little more or less depending on the sweetness I want. It stirs in well to boiling water (the variety I bought from my grocery store before this was a bit of a battle to keep it all from separating slightly) and is flavourful enough that way I have yet to even consider using milk. I'm sure one day I'll try it cold with oat or rice milk, and I'm sure it will be delicious, because it's some gosh darn good powder.

My package had been produced within the last four months and is good for another year or two (can't remember, but it's more than enough time); it offers both the manufacture and expiration dates. For those concerned about storage given it does not possess a ziploc closure, when I first received mine I simply emptied it into a tupperware and tossed in an old applesauce container for scooping. Does the trick for me.

Very good. as close as you can get to the maccha used by Starbucks

So about 15 minutes ago my bag of MoCafe Matcha Green Tea came knocking at my door. Since then I have made myself a smoothie and almost devoured it. The powder is delicious! It's very very close to the green tea frappes at StarBucks and I love that I didn't have to pay $5!

The ONLY reason that it didn't get 5 stars is because I feel that the way you measure it is wrong. The packaging says to use 6 oz milk, 12 oz ice and 8 tbsp (which is 1/2 a cup) of the powder. I feel like 1/2 a cup is a lot for the amount of milk and ice. I ended up using 24 oz of ice and it tasted the exact same before adding more ice. I just feel like my powder will last me longer if I don't go by the package directions. It's probably just a marketing scheme by MoCafe to use that much. Use more, buy more often, but that is why I give it 4 stars.

In conclusion, I will be buying again.

I love getting green tea matcha lattes from my local coffee shop or Starbucks however the cost of getting them deters me from enjoying them. I decided after reading reviews on this stuff to give it a try. It tastes just as good as what I've been getting at Starbucks or my local coffee shop! I followed recipe on bag for a blended drink and think next time I'll add in some of my green tea powder I have because it would bring in more matcha flavor. Overall I am pleased I can make my own matcha lattes at home for a third the price!
