Hose does not fit pvc pipe.
Upgrade Your Dryer Venting

This pipe is a definite upgrade from the old flexible tubing. Plus, it looks a whole lot better when installed correctly.

It is just what you see. If you don't know the difference between semi-rigid vent hose and vinyl you should probably avoid the semi-rigid, it is a little tougher to work with. For me it worked perfect, you have to handle it very gently, or it will separate at the seams an will dent. The elbow connector fit snugly on the dryer that no clamp was needed, the hose itself was a good snug fit, I duct taped it to insure a good seal. No complaints I would recommend this.
Dents Easily

The duct dents incredibly easily. When it came in the mail, I laid it across the top of an open cardboard box for two days until our installation. Just resting on top of the box created deep dents in the two places the duct touched the box's edges. Then pulling it out to the full 8 feet as well bending at a 45-degree angle to get to the dryer vent all created more dents.
It also didn't stay connected to the plastic elbow for the back of the dryer or the plastic piece to connect into the external vent, so we had to buy separate clamps. We're worried about all the dents causing lint backup, so we're actually planning to buy a whole new duct tomorrow--definitely from a different company.

Buyers beware. The dryer venting tube was torn in 3 separate pieces upon arrival and therefore cut my finger on this product.
Didn't expect a semi-rigid dryer venting tube to tear apart at the seams. My thinner flexible ones never did that. Will be returning product
