We use these paddles several times a month every summer, and they are much more comfortable than any other paddle we've tried. They float well, and the T-handle and light weight make them perfect for canoeing. I also like that the shaft is covered, making them easier to grab on a hot summer day. Get the longer length if you're six feet tall or more. Carlisle is the gold standard for watercraft paddles, and the price is hard to beat for this quality.

These paddles are strong and of great quality. Some "experts" probably have something negative to say about them because they arent 100 dollar a piece paddles, but these paddles are built well, strong and are working ou t great. They are not weak paddles, they can handle the abuse.
