I thought maybe this would be like a pop goes the weasel type of thing but all it does is make noise when you crank it. My son played with it for 5 minutes and hasn't picked it up sense. This is not something that will hold your child's attention for very long.

Small. They are a bit pricey for what you get. And you can't choose the color/style. The ones I bought sounded fair. For $11 plus change, they should have sounded tons better.
Terrible Sound Quality

I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter (age 6) who collects music boxes. This was completely underwhelming. The sound quality is so poor I can't decipher what the song is. There was no visible damage. The crank moves as designed. I can see no external cause for the poor sound quality. This is designed so that the music plays while you crank. The music stops when you stop cranking. The sound quality should be equivalent to a Jack-In-The-Box but it's not. I wouldn't buy this again nor would I recommend it.
