I bought this and the extendable pole that matches this one from Shur Line. I am not as satisfied as I had expected to be given its price and reviews. I didn't want to cheap out on my roller frame and extension pole, but I wish I had bought another brand. I have several different brands of 9 inch roller brushes and NONE of them fit snugly on this frame. I have high quality wooster, purdy, and home depot rollers. I have painted with many different frames and rollers before, usually never have this problem. Very frustrating. The second issue is that this does not stay tight on the shur-line extension pole! I bought the same brand hoping to avoid this specific issue...again I am let down. So not only are my high end rollers trying to slip off this frame, the frame wobbles if you arent tightly holding it at the point it screws onto the extension pole...UGH.

Very hard to remove. Junked it.

Works like described! The roller pops right off -- no struggling to pull off a paint filled dirty roller. I would recommend it to anyone. I did purchase an extension poll as well and they work great together. Previously I used the extending roller from Shur-Line but now will stick with this option.

Eliminates the mess when removing roller after painting. Works as advertised.

This product works great but they should provide instructions. The reason I say that is because you MUST insert the roller onto the frame in the locked position. You will need to hold the release lever in the locked position when inserting the roller or it will release from the pressure.
If you do it the way I have explained the roller will spin freely.
