Leaky plug but good looking.

Would have given 5 stars but for the annoying leaky plug in the bottom. This is day 2 and I am still trying to stop the leak.
It also arrived with a crack across the back. I easily repaired the crack but I place the blame on the styrofoam which broke in transit.
This is so good looking that I wish it was made a little better.

Thanks to very good double box and Styrofoam packaging, the item arrived unscathed. Yes, it is very nice looking! However, I assumed (not a good thing to do!) that I was going to be able to install the pump through the hole in the bottom of the fountain and it would be done. Not so fast. The bubbles you see in the picture are photoshopped. What really happens is that you have to install the included riser, thread the pump cord through it and screw it into the hole in the bottom. Now, that in itself is ugly looking! So, naturally (and this is what they neglect to tell you), you have to buy a fountain decoration. It's sort of a 9x9x16 inch square which fits over the pump and riser assembly and protrudes about 8 inches above the top of the fountain rim. That little joke costs another $65. The description of the fountain on Amazon doesn't tell you this, but when you open the box and see what you get (the fountain, a riser and a tube), you immediately suspect something is missing. I first thought, ok, they sell a special pump that threads directly into the hole in the bottom. Not so. By the way, don't even bother calling the manufacturer (Laguna) or it's distributor (Hagen).... they know even less than I do about their products. I gave it 3 stars for the looks of the fountain itself, but they get no stars for their non-disclosure and misleading picture.

Adequate for what I purchased it for, initially it leaked but after I tweaked it a bit it worked just fine
