These rods are perfect in every way except they are approx 1 inch shorter on both ends. Not a big deal, but they are. Does not affect play. I looked at allot of oprtions including getting my old rods re-chromed (approk $35 - $40 per rod). I'd go this route again.

Solid is the way to go. I ordered the hollow and they arrived bent and appeared weak. I will advise you use the foos-lube to assist with installing the men. I may have ordered different men because they were difficult to install. Tight fitting.

Well machined solid rods should give long life to an old rehabbed Champion table that is in excess of 30 years old. Did a full facelift with all new rods and components and replaced hollow rods that had been losing the chromed finish. The rods are slightly heavier but with proper lubrication one cannot tell a difference from hollow rods play. Would buy again without hesitation.
