Damn, watch out this thing is sharp, and will cut wood (and you to if you get mixed up with those teeth). I got this last year at the start of pruning my fruit trees. WHAT A TREAT! It was great to effortlessly saw through 4 inch thick apple limbs, as well as cutting away half inch sucker growth. What really impressed me was when my local tree guys had to come in to work on a couple of 100+ year old trees they too had this saw and used it for some small work. Can't get a better testimonial than that.

After a lot of research, we decided to take a chance on the Samurai Ichiban and was not disappointed. We have a large ficus tree that was becoming a problem with branches reaching so high they were pushing against our roof tiles. Had gotten several bids from tree trimming companies, none of which were under $400 minimum. So, for $37 (with prime delivery!) it was decided we'd try to trim it ourselves. It was surprising light and easy to use! It cut through branches 1-2" thick like butter! This was the best purchase we could have made!

I looked at this saw and 2 that cost twice as much. I decided for the price, I would give this one a try. We have been very pleased - it works so easily. We have used it to cut down a number of saplings, up to 4 inches in diameter. It is quick and easy to cut through. Very sturdy and easy to use.

I enjoy prunning with this saw...I prefer to use this over electric saw. Very sharp and perfect size for me. I wish I known about this sooner, but better now then never.

This saw is very sharp!! Well designed handle and it feels comfortable while holding it. The only thing I am worried about is the blade is held on with two screws, hopefully this is for when it dulls, you can change the blade..... have not looked to see if there are replacement blades for it.
By the way>>>>> If you order this, make sure someone is home to sign for it!! Mine was sent all over town and finally to the post office. It needs an adult signature.
