Great beaker - good accuracy and break resistance

I teach a lab where we need to measure volumes of water. These beakers are great for that. The tapered design makes for a similar percentage accuracy in both the small and larger volume measurements. And the polycarbonate material is great for break resistance. I've never broken even one.

I had one of these for over 20yrs. When it finally started to get cracks, I figured I'd never find another one. But, I did! The old one can still be used. But, I use this for almost everything. I like all the measurement conversions on the sides.

Includes a wide variety of measuring units, plastic seems a little lightweight, measuring lines can be difficult to discern, as they are thin and visually compete with those on the other side of the beaker. It appears to be dead on accurate.

Super handy--don't have to bother with conversions and you can just keep adding stuff to it. It's plastic, not glass--I've had mine for around 9 months now and there's a few scuffs and scratches but it's held up pretty well (and we've dropped it more than a few times). Not sure if it's supposed to be dishwasher safe but my roommates keep throwing it in the dishwasher and so far it hasn't warped, broken, or exploded.

It works well. I like how it's tapered to make it easier to measure smaller volumes. I only wish they'd done a better job with the numbering. I think they could have done a better job with the numbering for the ML scale. But that's a minor quibble. I'm still quite satisfied with the product.
