Could use a cross-bolt.
Fuzzy•February 28, 2015
Quick, easy drop-in fit. Without the crossbolt it can slide forward in the stock slightly, but it was easy to make a little spacer. With a Blackhawk Cheek Riser and UTG Scope Mount/Shell Deflector, my old SKS is my favorite <300yd rifle.
GREAT RIFLE STOCK
Jimmy Dean•February 9, 2015
for 80$ this stock is awesome. fits very very tight and is very nice to handle. butt plate added plus though cheek rest nothing great. at first thought it wouldn't fit but once lined up properly snapped like a biting turtle. the stock is a bit heavy but the grip makes it easy to handle. mags all locked snug and to not skip detail ati has indent at safety to disengage it. THE ERGONOMICS MAKE IT SUITABLE FOR HUNTING OR ASSULT I am very pleased with this product.

This stock isn't worth taking a chance on. The one I received was unusable do to the fact it was warped and was touching the barrel. I tried heating it and bending it straight and removing material and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to fit correctly. The Choate and Butler Creek stocks seem to have far better reviews so you might want to check those out.
The material the stock was made of felt very strong and had a good feel in the hand however.

Paratrooper Owners Warning
FYeah•October 2, 2013
This will fit the paratrooper, but be forewarned you will need to grind, drill, and smack things into place. I had to spend an additional 3 hours and $40 on install. The old wood stock fit like a charm. Make sure you retain your old stock trigger group release spring which has a separate whole in the stock. I imagine this will shoot better and it gives compliance, but for install on the paratrooper, it is a pain.
NEW STOCK SPRING HOLE IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH FOR THE ORIGINAL SPRING!!! USE A 5/16 DRILL BIT TO DRILL.
SHAME ON ATI FOR NOT CLARIFYING AND GIVING VAGUE DIRECTIONS IN THE PAPERS AND VIDEO.

yes it need the flashing removed "deburred" the recoil pad does not conform to the butt stock and some one added a extra screw in to it. Most of this is me being anal about looks. The instructions that came with it left out the part on removing the mag well so you can remove it from the stock stock. but if you read ahead it tells you to replace the mag well so with some reverse engineering it all worked out.
pros. cheap, nice feel, shifts the weight of the rifle to closer to the butt stock, and the butt stock is larger then on the factory Chinese SKS so my thumb on my trigger hand no longer hits my nose when shooting.
cons. its cheap you will have to put some work into it to make it ready to use but no more then 10 to 15 min taking flashing off and smoothing corners/edges.
