Looks like it is also mislabeled as "mm" when the scale reads cm... not big deal of course

I'm surprised at the other reviews. I get quite accurate readings compared with online values from nearby weather stations and am impressed, particularly given the precision of the display marks. The instrument is very lightweight, but I don't view that as such a liability for something I'll be hanging on my wall and removing periodically to calibrate. It does make it a bit tricky when turning the calibration screw, since there's no weight resistance, but you get the hang of it with a bit of practice. Also, if you use classic tapping on the face to determine whether pressure is rising of falling, you'll need to steady it with your other hand. But these are small issues considering the performance and price of the meter.
Also, another reviewer is rambling about temperature. This is a barometer, not a thermometer. It makes no claim to measure temperature, so I'd disregard that review.

Looks nice, but how can one hand measure baro. pressure and temp. I'd send it back but don't want to pay the shipping.

For $25 my expectations were not high, but even then I was disappointed. Cheap construction and wildly inaccurate.
I tacked this on to another order with the intent of just using the baro for instructional purposes. I attempted to calibrate it, but could not get a stable pressure reading (I logged readings over several days and it appears to respond more changes in humidity and temp than pressure).
Useless other than as a decorative item.
