My generator came with many ding marks in it. It ran ok for very short test runs although it idled a bit odd at times not even under load. Our first power outage happened a few days ago and wouldn't you know it, this generator flooded out and stopped working after a half hour of use. I was able to pull the air filter, give it extra oxygen and get it running again. It still just won't idle correctly on a consistent basis, it will for small periods of time. The governor seems to refuse to level out sometimes which is really odd, especially when there is nothing hooked to generator. Buyer beware!

Excellent starts every time, Have a solar trickle charge to keep battery up. Have used it 6 time since purchased due to power outages. Longest one was 18 hrs. Flawless. Kept everything that it was designed for running. (Should have got a larger one, didn't add the total wattage I needed correctly) .

Now THAT was a good price! I do mobile DJ work sometimes and this generator wasn't too loud, didn't falter - it was perfect for the job with power to spare. I used 1.5 gallons of gas in 4 hours. I could have gotten a smaller generator but this one was on sale.
