It does a fantastic job of removing rust and sediment from the water ...

Does not include a filter cartridge or wall mount bracket!!!!! It does come with a wrench however. This is a sediment filter only. This will not turn your water into drinking water. It does a fantastic job of removing rust and sediment from the water supply though.
Filter housing leaks

Filter leaks I have call 3M and was given a procedure which did not work. So far a have about a $300 out of pocket and can not use whole house filter system.
leaky o-rings

Good quality housing. Bad gaskets. Leaked like crazy. Had to get new ones. Make sure you get extras. Order buna-n rings by size. Cheaper than manufacturer replacements.
Make sure you get lube too!

Just finished installing so this is not a long term use review. Make sure you buy lubricant for the o-ring, because none is included and you need it to get it to seat properly and not leak. So one star off right off the bat because it's not like o-ring lube is easy to find! The directions don't even tell you that you need to have it. In trying to find the right lube I had one 3M tech tell me that the o-ring was Butyl Rubber and another tell me it was Nitrile. We have a well with very orange colored water. We had large water filtration and neutralizer system that never worked well so we replaced it with this. It takes up a small amount of space and really cleans the water well. Because of the our water condition we have to replace the filter about once a month. It only takes about 10 min to do so and the filters cost about $25. Great buy compared to those other expensive systems.
