I'm a fan of this product. Repeat buyer does great job and no stains on clothing

I have used this creme for tens of thousands of miles of riding, literally. I have never had a problem with chafing. Earlier, when I was new to riding I didn't use any cremes, and suffered quite a few problems with rash and painful chafes. I believe these are a must for any serious bike rider, and even casual riders if you go for an hour or more. There are many cremes on the market for this purpose and I have used all of them. They all work well. I can't say that this is the best, but it is as good as any. One thing to keep in mind is to check the per oz price. Larger packages, such as this one, are a better price.

I don't like that it burns.

I have used the original version of this product for a couple of years. I do not use a lot per ride - just a little in spots where I tend to get sore. It makes a big difference in preventing trouble, as well as making riding more comfortable when one of those spots is irritated. I'll note that I don't get full-on open saddle sores. I would stop before letting that happen. After all, no one is paying me to ride. I do get some definite discomfort and this helps.
My wife and I bought the regular, Euro, and Her' versions to compare. All feel about the same. I only notice the smell of the latter two when it's on my hand. If your riding buddies notice the smell, they are too close to your chamois! With the Euro, I can feel the menthol and/or witch hazel after applying the product, but I doubt that it makes much difference in the long run.
Just to weigh in on the "tube or tub" discussion, I think that small variations in how much cream you use will make a much bigger difference than the packaging choice.

I have been using Chamois Butt'r for several years, and I have found it to be very effective. I have never had any problems with chafing, even on long rides. The cream is also very soothing, and it helps to relieve any pain or discomfort that I may have. One thing to keep in mind is sometimes less is more. You don't want to over apply. This will not fix a poor fit on a bike.

Overall, I highly recommend Chamois Butt'r to anyone who cycles. It is a great way to prevent chafing and keep your skin comfortable.
