I was looking high and low for something like this and what arrived has exceeded my expectations. It is absolutely perfect. I needed something that we could anchor into concrete (as opposed to staking in the ground), and it was easy to level and balance using some nuts and washers (our walkways are sloped to direct runoff of water). I can't wait until next summer, when I can coax some vinca vines around it! So far it seems sturdy for its purpose (mostly decorative). I wouldn't let kids climb on it, but it's enough to keep our well-behaved golden retriever from eloping.

This gate creates a stunning entrance to our garden, just wish I had read the reviews before I ordered it as multiple reviews mentioned the closing mechanism does not work and they're correct! I purchased a black chain and caribiner to keep the gate closed and that worked really well.

Easy to assemble. Needs two people to move it into place; one person to assemble within 30 minutes with provided tools. Bronze color is heavily mottled with black (from a distance unit looks black) - perfect! The only plastic exist at the doors' top & bottom spindle hole where metal brackets (inserted into the side frames) fit into - my guess is for smooth operation as well as no metal to metal contact at the rotation points (possible noise issue). The picture is inaccurate: 1) the pivot bar does not exist from the door; rather, L shaped bolts attach to the frame and are inserted into the top and bottom of each door. 2) the door latch is essentially a U shaped metal bracket that is rotated about the other door's edge tubing - at about the same location as the picture; unfortunately this enables the doors to be swung open with almost no effort in either direction. We will obtain a rubberized U bolt to hang on the latch arms that extends beyond the tubing; that will keep the doors from opening.
The bottom of the gate is about 3.5" from the ground; the lowest top of the gate is 42" while the highest portion (near the frame) is 55".
