I just bought one of these pads as a spare to the one I already own. Our son is a bedwetter & these are truly a sanity saver. These pads are large enough to cover a twin mattress from side to side (they are not the full length of the twin bed). It is so much easier to wash the pad instead of changing the whole bed. I wash & dry the pad in cold water & dry on low and after many, many washings, it is still totally waterproof. The plaid does look faded, but I believe this pad will stay waterproof beyond the 300 washes it claims if washed/dried properly. I've bought other brand pads before & this one is by far the best.

Still great 4 years and 3 kids later. Fabulous for kids potty training and possible night time accidents. Buy a few and switch them out when one is in the washer. There are cheaper pads out there, but don't be tempted. These do not have a plastic liner that would make the user overly hot, but they do retain a bit of extra heat which I think is unavoidable in a product such as this. The colors will fade eventually but the absorbency is still great. They also don't move as much as other liners so they usually stay in place well on top of the sheets. I start using this when they are babies for milk leaks, spit ups, and diaper failures then keep on using through potty training.

My wife has uninary and bowel incontinence. I use these by the dozen. SOOO much better than disposables. They are large enough to address any emergency and wash and dry very easily.
